To get social!
Your membership helps us fund large hospital events like the cocktail at the end of this year. We also fund end of term drinks, and heaps of other social events throughout the year! So sign up as a member, knowing you are contributing to memorable evenings for years to come.
The Common Room!
We heard you like cinnamon scrolls, but you might not have heard those lil’ guys are kind expensive. Your membership is pooled with everyone else so we can barter at scale, and provide regular cinnamon scrolls and sausage rolls for members throughout the year! It also funds bread, linen, cleaning, water, and Wifi in the DCR!
Advocacy!
We are closely integrated on the with the Sir Charles Gairdner Workforce and Executive. We attend regular meetings with site directors, chief executive, and workforce, among many other arms of the hospital. We have special representatives for registrars, interns, women, and international / interstate graduates and are very proud to be in such a good position to advocate for our members. Rotations, rosters, or otherwise, we are here for you!
Education and Resources!
We have a team of people dedicated to just one thing. Making sure you have the tools you need in the hospital to start to put together the ultimate CV. This year we have launched SHARE tutorials in conjunction with Medical Education. We also work closely with International / Interstate Medical Graduates to ensure they have a good orientation to the hospital.
